Last updated: February 2025·Terms & Conditions →

This Privacy Notice for Daydremr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use our Services — including any of our applications (Makeable, Breeze, Wander, Gather, Sage, and Reflect) or when you engage with us in other ways.

The short version: We collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and we never will. What lives in your apps stays there. If you have questions, email us at contact@daydremr.com.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

In Short

We collect only what you give us — primarily your name and email address — along with limited technical data needed to operate the Services.

Information you provide to us

Information collected automatically

When you use our mobile applications, we may request permission to access certain device features — such as your camera, microphone, or storage — only where necessary for specific app functionality. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

We may send push notifications for account or app updates. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.

Note on Sage (Local AI): Sage processes all data entirely on your device. Nothing you input into Sage is transmitted to our servers or any third party. Ever. It is structurally private by design.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In Short

We process your information only to provide, improve, and operate our Services — and to keep them secure.

Specifically, we process your personal information to:

We will only process your information for other purposes with your prior explicit consent.

3. Legal Bases for Processing Your Information

In Short

We only process your information when we have a valid legal reason to do so.

If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We rely on the following legal bases:

If you are in Canada

We process your information with your express or implied consent, or where permitted by applicable Canadian law without consent (such as fraud detection, legal proceedings, or publicly available information).

4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

In Short

We do not sell your data. We share it only in very limited, specific circumstances.

Business transfers

We may share or transfer your information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

What we never do

We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We do not sell your data to any third party for commercial purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent. This is a founding principle of Daydremr, not a policy that can quietly change.

5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In Short

We use minimal cookies only for security and basic functionality — not for advertising.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain security, fix bugs, save preferences, and support basic site functions. We do not use tracking technologies for targeted advertising. We do not permit third-party advertisers to place cookies through our Services.

6. Do We Offer AI-Based Products?

In Short

Yes. Some of our apps use AI — and we are deliberate and transparent about how.

Cloud-based AI (Makeable, Breeze, Gather, Reflect)

Some apps use AI features powered by third-party providers (such as OpenAI). Where this is the case, your inputs may be processed by those providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. We will always make clear within each app when a cloud AI is being used. You must not use these features in any way that violates the terms of the applicable AI provider.

Local AI (Sage)

Sage runs entirely on your device. The model, your inputs, and all outputs remain local. No data is sent to Daydremr or any third party. This is not a setting or a preference — it is how Sage is architecturally built.

AI functions across the suite

7. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

In Short

If you register using a social media account, we receive limited profile information from that provider.

Where we offer social login (such as Sign in with Apple or Google), we receive basic profile information — typically your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to create and manage your account. We are not responsible for how the social media provider uses your data, and we recommend reviewing their own privacy policies.

8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In Short

Only as long as necessary — and no longer.

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. When there is no longer a legitimate reason to hold it, we delete or anonymise it. If deletion is temporarily impossible (for example, data in backup archives), we isolate it from further processing until it can be deleted.

9. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — though no system is perfect.

We have implemented security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. However, no electronic system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. You should always access the Services from a secure environment.

10. Do We Collect Information from Minors?

In Short

No. The Services are not directed at anyone under 18.

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are a parent or guardian consenting on behalf of a minor dependent. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. Please contact us at contact@daydremr.com if you believe this has occurred.

11. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In Short

Depending on where you live, you have meaningful rights over your personal information.

EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada residents

You have the right to:

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for the UK: the ICO; for the EU: your Member State authority; for Switzerland: the FDPIC).

Account information

You can review or update your account information at any time through your account settings. To request account deletion, contact us at contact@daydremr.com. We may retain certain information after deletion to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.

12. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) setting. Because no uniform standard for recognising DNT signals currently exists, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a legal standard is adopted in the future, we will update this notice accordingly.
